Ukraine continues to adopt cryptocurrency-based payments using the cryptocurrency exchange Binance despite the ongoing conflict with Russia.

ANC Pharmacy, one of the biggest pharmacies within the United States, joined forces in partnership with Binance Ukraine to debut cryptocurrency payments using the contactless crypto services Binance Pay.
ANC Pharmacy is now enabling its customers to make instant payment when they purchase medicines on the internet, the chain made the announcement in January. 3.
The chain of pharmacies manages around 1,000 pharmacists in Ukraine and operates an online pharmacies service. As per the press release that there will be a start of Binance Pay payments will initially be launched in Kyiv.
The new payment service will be accessible at ANC pharmacies, as well as ANC pharmacy-operated stores such as Kopiyka as well as Shara. “ANC, Kopiyka and Shara are the first pharmacies in Europe to accept crypto,” the announcement says.
To proceed with cryptocurrency payments, users have to first download and install the Binance application, and then visit the ANC website. Once they have selected an item to order on the internet, customers can pay using Binance Pay , and take the item to the location they prefer.

Binance has been expanding its business in Ukraine in recent years. As of September 20, 2022 the Binance joined forces with Varus, a Ukrainian Varus supermarket chain and allowed users to make their grocery purchases using the Binance Pay Wallet.
In the beginning of February 2022just a few days before Russian forces entered Ukraine in 2022 Binance Ukraine’s chief executive Kirill Khomyakov, informed Cointelegraph that the launch of an Binance Credit Card for Ukraine was among the most important goals for 2022.
According to Khomyakov that crypto-based payment services such as Binance Card are not in conflict with Ukrainian laws as there is no prohibition on transactions derived from cryptos within the country. However local laws don’t allow direct transactions in crypto such as Bitcoin.
